As the October 26th provincial election closes in, the leader of the Saskatchewan Liberal Party says, he won’t be running. Naveed Anwar has resigned as leader as of yesterday (wed). He has served in the role since May 2018. Anwar says he has decided to focus his time and energy on social causes outside of politics. The party is now looking for an interim leader. Meanwhile, the party says it continues to prepare for the upcoming election.
