The Saskatchewan Health Authority says an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited two businesses in Tisdale when the individual was likely infectious on September 6. The person was at Sobeys Liquor store, 900 93rd Ave., between 6 and 6:15 p.m. and Beeland Co-op Food Store, 904 93rd Ave., around 6:15 to 6:30 p.m.
Public Health officials are advising anyone who was at either of these locations at the specified date and time to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing.
All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days.
It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
