We have had some hot days this summer, but according to the Weather Network, nowhere in the country has it hit 40 degrees yet, although a few days have come close. The forecast in Osyoyoos is to hit 41 degrees on Tuesday, and that would be the first 40 or over temperature so far this summer across Canada. The warmest temperature recorded so far this summer was on July 25th in Etzicom, Alberta when it hit 39.8.
There are heat warnings throughout portions of Vancouver Island, the South Coast and east towards the interior and the Weather Network says that it will also be humid, so it will be even more muggy in the west, and like they say, it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.
