Saskatchewan RCMP have laid charges in connection to an accident that took place more than three years ago claiming the life of a 64-year-old man from the Prince Albert detachment area.
On April 4th, 2022, Prince Albert RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a car and truck at the intersection of Highway #263 and Okema Beach Road. The driver and sole occupant of the car was declared deceased at the scene.
The truck involved in the collision which had previously been reported as stolen out of Leask the day before, was abandoned at the scene. Investigators believed those inside had fled on foot.
