The annual Saskatoon Ex Parade will start to wind through downtown Saskatoon at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
It will travel in a loop going down 4th Avenue and Spadina Crescent up 20th Street and down 24th Street. Lane restrictions go into place at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and are expected to last until 2:00 p.m.
Saskatoon Transit has partnered with the Saskatoon EX to offer free Transit service for Superpass holders to Prairieland Park from July 31 to August 7. Riders looking to take the bus simply need to show the bus operator their Superpass or wristband when boarding.
Seniors 65 and older can ride free during the Ex with or without a Superpass and children in Grade 8 and under always ride free.
Three special service routes from the Exhibition loop on Lorne Avenue have been added on Sunday and Monday to provide transportation after the event. Regular fares apply. Bus #1 – Travels to City Centre and Lawson Heights Mall Terminals; Bus #2 – Travels to Market Mall Terminal, Centre Mall and University Heights; Bus #3 – Travels to Confederation Mall and City Centre Terminals.
