Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit are investigating several stabbing incidents from the weekend.
Police say around 6:00 a.m. Sunday a 44 year old man was brought to RUH with life threatening stab wounds but was able to tell the police he was stabbed in Victoria Park in the 400 block of Spadina Crescent. He was unable to give a suspect description but is now in stable condition in hospital.
Around 4:45 a.m. Sunday police responded to the 1400 block of 21st Street west after a woman had shown up with stab wounds saying she was stabbed by three men at Avenue O and 21st Street. She is now being treated in hospital.
Around 6:15 p.m. Sunday evening a 28 year old woman suffered stab wounds in the 300 block of Avenue M South. The suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie and pants. The woman is in hospital receiving treatment.
And around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday a 40 year old man arrived at St. Paul’s Hospital with a stab wound. He says there was a fight in the 100 block of Avenue P South and police say the victim knows the suspect.
