The Saskatoon Public Library has issued a request for Proposal for Design Consulting Services for its new central library. A team for the design work will be selected in October. The library will also be releasing a community engagement and learning plan later this fall. It will outline various ways in which the community can provide feedback. The new central library is slated to open at 321 2nd Avenue north in 2026. It will take up about 136 thousand square feet and will be built within an inflation-adjusted budget of $134 million.
