An early Thursday morning stabbing in Saskatoon has turned into a homicide investigation for the police’s Major Crime Section.
A 34-year-old Saskatoon male was arrested and is in police custody after a 62-year-old man was found suffering from a stab wound in the 200 block of Avenue W South just before 2 a.m. Thursday. The injured man was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries. No charges have been laid at this time as Major Crimes continue to investigate following completion of an autopsy Thursday afternoon.
