Saskatoon Police say the driver of a vehicle in the area of 20th Street and Avenue W West was stabbed by his passenger, which led him to hitting the passenger side of a patrol car with an officer inside.
This was around 1 Thursday afternoon.
A 46 year old man was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The passenger, a 38 year old man, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of cocaine and meth.
The police officer wasn’t injured.
Although a homicide investigation began in this area earlier in the day, police say it’s not connected to this incident.
