Battlefords RCMP say it was no random incident when shots were fired at a residence around 2:20 this morning (tues) on the one thousand block of 105th Street North, in North Battleford. No one inside was hurt but police did seize an unlawfully stored firearm from the building. As the officers were responding, they encountered a vehicle speeding away. They pursued it and found the vehicle abandoned where a suspect was fleeing on foot. The suspect got away but was identified. The vehicle was seized along with another firearm.
