Draft Pick Robinson Joins Rush’s Roll of Signed Players

With training camp less than 10 days away, the Saskatchewan Rush keep signing players in advance of the 2019-20 National Lacrosse League season.

The latest to be inked is forward Connor Robinson to a one-year deal. The New Westminster, B-C, product was the fifth overall selection in the 2018 Draft by Saskatchewan. Robinson played in three games with the Rush last season, scoring once and adding three assists. He has a shot at regular playing time with Saskatchewan this season with the departure of Curtis Knight, who was claimed in the off-season expansion draft by Rochester. ONE YEAR DEAL

Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Rush have signed Connor Robinson to a one year agreement.

Robinson was drafted 5th overall by the Rush in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft. The forward from New Westminster, BC, appeared in 3 games for the Rush last season, scoring once and adding three helpers. Robinson played a key role in the Victoria Shamrocks WLA Championship win and Mann Cup run, notching 37 goals and 63 assists over 32 games played this summer between Langley and Victoria.

With the departure of Curtis Knight this off-season due to NLL expansion, Robinson has a clear lane to being a regular in the Rush lineup this season. Rush training camp opens November 1st at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre in Saskatoon.
