Saskatoon Police are now investigating an incident, possibly involving the trio of young offenders who have been arrested and charged with second degree murder in connection with the shooting of a 27-year-old Saskatoon man.
Members of S-P-S’s Major Crime Section have determined that a robbery involving a firearm took place in the area just before, and not far from the 200 block of Avenue O South where Shedane Favel became the city’s fifth homicide victim of 2022 on Sunday morning. The robbery incident involved a separate victim who was riding a bicycle, but was able to flee the area. Police are asking the unknown bicycle rider to come forward or for anyone with information about these incidents to call the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers. The three youth male offenders, aged 13, 14 and 16, all from Saskatoon, appeared in Provincial Court Monday morning.
