Monster brand energy drinks are being recalled due to caffeine content and labelling issues.
The products affected include all caffeinated forms of the drink, and all beverages which do not have both English and French labelling.
If you’ve consumed a Monster energy drink recently and have gotten sick due to caffeine content, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency suggests you contact your health care provider and return the product to where it was purchased or throw it out.
Some side effects of consuming excess caffeine include insomnia, irritability, headaches, and nervousness.
