The Moose Jaw Police Service has charged a 29-year-old man with unlawfully endangering a child’s life, after an incident Tuesday.

Police received a report from the east side of the city of a suspect running in and out of traffic while pushing a baby stroller.

Police say upon arrival the suspect refused to stop for officers and ran head-on into oncoming traffic.

With the help of the public, the suspect was stopped near an east side business, taken into custody and transported to hospital for assessment.

A 4-year-old child was not injured in the incident.  An unnamed 29-year-old man will appear in court at a later date after being charged with assault, unlawfully endangering a child’s life and resist arrest.
