The injured male that was the a victim of a gunshot wound early Saturday evening has been identified.

He is a 17 year-old youth and he remains in hospital in critical condition.

Around 6:45 Saturday night, Saskatoon Police were called to the 200 block of Avenue S North. That’s where officers located a male injured from a gunshot wound.

Police are still investigating and anyone with information is asked to call the SPS and ask to speak with an investigator in Major Crimes or call Crime Stoppers.
