The Moose Jaw Board of Police Commissioners has appointed a new Chief of Police.
Effective August 29th, Robert Davis will bring over 34 years of law enforcement experience to the table.
Davis served most of has career as Chief of Police in Brantford, Ontario. A release from the MJPS says he is dedicated to serving with integrity and
transparency and has a steadfast commitment to community safety, employee wellness, and modern policing strategies.
The new hire comes after a months-long national search for a suitable Chief and a thorough vetting process. The search followed the 2024 announcement from former Chief Rick Bourassa that he was retiring in 2025 after 45 years of service.
