Saskatoon Police say their officers located a vehicle wanted in connection to the theft of gas, but the driver refused to stop when police attempted to pull it over.
Police were called by a gas station on Stonebridge Boulevard at 10:50 p.m. Monday.
In a news release the police say the vehicle sped off onto Circle Drive where it was monitored by the Air Support Unit which directed ground units to the 800 block of Appleby Drive.
The driver was taken into custody at the scene and a 32-year-old woman from Beauval is facing charges of Evade Police, Theft Under $5000, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Breach of Probation. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating illegal cigarettes, open alcohol, baggies of what appeared to be cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
