A former chief with the Regina Police Service has passed away at the age of 67.
Troy Clifford Hagen passed on Thursday, July 31. He served over 39 years with the Regina Police Service, and eight years as Chief, before retiring in 2016.
He also volunteered on numerous boards and committees, including the United Way, the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Prostate Cancer Support Regina group. His contributions were recognized when he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces by the Governor General of Canada.
