The Canadian Junior Men’s Amateur Golf Championship starts today and runs through Friday in Bathurst, New Brunswick. Today is the first of four rounds in the 72-hole event for individuals. Today is, also, the first of two rounds of inter-provincial team play. The field of 156 competitors includes the Saskatchewan team of Aricin Franklin, Ethan Hunter and Ryan Mosher – all of Saskatoon – plus non team members Lucas Sturgeon of Saskatoon, Dane Giesbrecht of Warman, Shae Maunula of North Battleford and Matty Schmiess of Swift Current.
