A 24 year-old man will see a Justice of the Peace today (sun) after security officers at Royal University Hospital had him in custody early this morning (sun) for having a knife in the staff break area.

Once Saskatoon Police arrived just before 2:30, they located a sawed off rifle in the suspect’s backpack along with a knife and bolt cutters.

The 24 year-old is facing numerous firearm and weapons related charges.
