The BULL is proud to partner with SaskTIP to solve the “Crime of the Month.” The June Crime of the Month is “Illegal Pike Harvest.” On May 13, Big River conservation officers discovered 26 northern pike left to waste along a creek flowing into Hackett Lake off Revo Lake Road. The fish appear to have been illegally snared during spawning season and abandoned on shore with no meat taken. There was no open fishing season at the time. Officers believe the violation occurred between May 8 and May 12.
