The BULL is proud to partner with SaskTIP as we try to solve their “Crime of the Month”. The January Crime of the Month is “Northern Pike Left to Waste” On December 28, Moose Jaw conservation officers received a TIPP call regarding two northern pike that were left to waste approximately 3km west of the Sun Valley Resort, near Buffalo Pound Lake, at the junction of Range Road 2265 and Township Road 200. Conservation officers responded to the location and found two northern pike (71cm and 93cm). Both fish were fresh, whole, and partially frozen. Officers believe that the fish were discarded within 30 minutes prior to the TIPP call, as one pike was still moving.
