The Saskatchewan Roughriders have begun their short week of preparation in advance of hosting Hamilton Thursday at Mosaic Stadium.
The Green and White completed their first of two practices Monday, plus they’ll have a walk-through Wednesday before the game against the Jeremiah Masoli-less Tiger-Cats. According to observers at practice Monday, the Riders got through the 45-18 victory in B-C this past Saturday completely healthy as all 24 starters were taking part. However, there was no sighting of quarterback Zach Collaros or kicker Brett Lauther. Collaros was eligible to start practicing this week as he finishes off a six-game injured list stint after Thursday’s contest. In addition, rookie Canadian receiver Justin McInnis was taking reps after being hurt in practice the day before the Roughriders travelled to the West Coast.
