The search continues for a 36 year old man who went missing while operating a Jet Ski on Black Strap Lake on Saturday night. The Manitoba RCMP Underwater Recover Team was called in to help and began its search today (Mon).
Saskatoon RCMP, Dundurn Fire and Rescue, STARS, Saskatoon Police Service Air Support and the Saskatoon Fire Department all responded around 8:45 Saturday night. The strong winds and the darkness hindered their efforts.
Until the man is found, Saskatoon RCMP will remain on scene at the far north end of Blackstrap Lake and for the duration, boat traffic is restricted in that area. Police police also request the public use alternate boat launches.
