There were a few power outages in Saskatoon on Sunday because of the windy conditions. In 3 of 4 incidents, the cause was tree limbs contacting power lines. The power was out in areas of Nutana and Buena Vista from 6:10 until 11:30 Sunday morning, from 5 to 9:30 a.m. on Garrison and Copeland Crescent in Grosvenor Park, and at Aberdeen and Minto Place in Kelsey-Woodlawn area between 9:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. There was also a shorter outage in Westmount from 12:30 to 1:10 Sunday afternoon, but the cause for that one hasn’t been specified.
