Saskatoon Police say a 32 year old man suffered life threatening injuries in an accident shortly after 8:30 this morning involving four vehicles at Avenue F South and 19th Street.
The Collision Analyst Unit was still on scene over the lunch hour but say it appears one vehicle involved may have disobeyed a stop sign at a high rate of speed and another vehicle collided with it. Two other vehicles were then hit after the initial crash.
The Saskatoon Fire Department had to extricate one of the victims and the two others who were hurt and taken to hospital in the accident, a man and a woman, did not suffer life threatening injuries.
Motorists are asked to stay clear of the area until the officers wrap up their investigation.
