Saskatoon Police say a garage fire from yesterday morning is being investigated as an arson. Shortly after 10 a.m. police and fire crews were call to 2001 St. Henry Avenue. Police say a man reportedly knocked on the back door of the home before the fire started, had what is described only as a brief conversation with the homeowner and then left allegedly in possession of two machetes. The garage contained wax and beekeeping materials and in addition to extinguishing the blaze, firefighters had to deal with a barrage of bees. The fire has been deemed suspicious and anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
