Two more people have been charged in connection to the death of Tiki Brook-lyn Laverdiere. On Monday, at the request of Saskatchewan RCMP, Edmonton Police arrested 23 year old Jesse Sangster of Edmonton and he has been charged with Accessory after the fact to murder as well as Theft of a motor vehicle.
Yesterday (Weds) Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit-North arrested 36 year old Nicole Cook of Edmonton in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Cook has been charged with First Degree Murder, Kidnapping, Improperly interfering with a human body, and Theft of a motor vehicle.
Two North Battleford women, 27 year old Shayla Orthner and 32 year old Danita Thomas, face the same charges as Nicole Cook and Brent Checkosis, who is 18 years old, is accused of being an accessory after the fact, along with interfering with human remains and vehicle theft.
Both Nicole Cook and Jesse Sangster have been brought back to Saskatchewan for their first court appearance which is tomorrow (friday) in North Battleford.
North Battleford RCMP also say that Tiki Brook-Lyn Laverdiere went to North Battleford at the end of April to attend the funeral of Tristen Cook-Buckle. Nicole Cook is the mother of Tristen Cook-Buckle.
