Around 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Saskatoon Police responded to a parking garage downtown in the 100 block of 1st Avenue South to assist security officers with a man who had been exposing himself to the public.
Once police arrived, they found the man still unclothed as he climbed into small space by a stairwell. Police say he appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was behaving erratically.
With the man in possession of syringes and making motions with them towards officers and himself, police used a CEW, also known as a taser.
After the man continued to hold the needles, a second deployment of the CEW was used. The man then complied and was taken into custody.
The 33 year-old man was taken to hospital for minor injuries from the CEW and his high intoxication level. The man is facing multiple charges including indecent exposure.
He will appear before a Justice of the Peace Monday afternoon.
