The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired wide receiver Kenny Stafford from the Edmonton Eskimos in exchange for wide receiver Christion Jones.
Stafford is entering his seventh year in the Canadian Football League, having spent time with the Calgary Stampeders, Montreal Alouettes and Edmonton Eskimos.
Throughout 70 career games, the 29 year-old American wide receiver has collected 2,626 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns with an average of 13.5 yards per reception.
This season with the Eskimos, Stafford has 30 receptions for 366 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Riders are next in action Friday when they visit the Montreal Alouettes.
