It’s my Parting Shot for some Tuesday Tidbits…

That was a good long weekend…plus!

It actually started Thursday with a trip to Regina for the Riders-Hamilton game. The best news of the night, getting to roll right through the checkstop in Chamberlain on the way down. I wonder how many people still get into a pickle with that?! When will they learn?!

Friday, I attended my first Saskatchewan Rattlers game. It won’t be my last! It was very good entertainment, a fast-paced game because of the F-I-B-A rules and the home team won. Now, more people need to realize this and take it in. I know it’s not the N-B-A, but Saskatoon and Saskatchewan will never be home to a major professional league team…aside from the Roughriders and the C-F-L. The quality of play is excellent, it just needs a Rush-like following!

After that, it was “Ribfest” for some yummy eats on Saturday and some people-watching Sunday at the Fringe! Monday was a day of much-needed rest!

The only thing missing was a round of golf…and time is running out on that for this year for me!
