About 19 thousand people took in the 7th annual Rotary Ribfest on the weekend. Boss Hog’s BBQ of London, Ontario won the People’s Choice award while Gator BBQ of Port Dover, Ontario took the Judge’s Choice award. The 50/50 prize totaled $9,237.50. The winner was Craig Lindsay of Saskatoon. The door prize of a dinner and show for two at Dakota Dunes Casino was won by Curtis Isackson of Martensville. Funds raised through Ribfest support the Rotary Club of Saskatoon Nutana’s community projects in the areas of youth, First Nations, literacy and education.
