Saskatchewan Roughriders’ leading receiver Shaq Evans didn’t practice Tuesday after tweaking his ankle during Monday’s session and head coach Craig Dickenson says newly-acquired Kenny Stafford is their guy if Evans can’t play Friday in Montreal.
Stafford was with Edmonton in their Grey Cup winning season of 2015, playing under current Riders’ offensive co-ordinator Stephen McAdoo’s system so it would be an easy transition, even if Stafford was only acquired Monday from the Eskimos.
