A two-month investigation, dubbed Project Nuke, culminated this week in Regina with the execution of five search warrants and eight people charged. Police allege that the searches on Monday and Tuesday uncovered quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, money, and ammunition. 27 year old Mohamed Ilyaas Badal, 25 year old Givonn Bowen-Wright, 29 year old Nasrudin Ali Nur, 34 year old Christopher Hugh Mcdougall, 29 year old Tyrell Charles Nelson Jones, all of Regina, and 19 year old Yoonis Ibrahim of Etobicoke, Ontario are facing drug and Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime charges. Mcdougall and Jones are also charged with possession of Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order. 28 year old Rage Mohamed of Edmonton and 27 year old Abdulkadir Mohamed Yusuf of Calgary are facing drug charges.
