A drug trafficking investigation that started in July in Saskatoon, culminated in six arrests as of Thursday.
The investigation started with a 28 year old male suspect last month and Thursday investigators arrested the man along with a 24 year old woman, in a parking lot in the 600 block of University Drive. A small amount of methamphetamine was seized from the vehicle they were driving.
A search warrant was then executed in the 300 block of Cumberland Avenue South. Three women and one man were arrested from the home. Police seized firearms, a machete, over 33-hundred dollars in cash, 19 hydromorphone pills, a small amount of cocaine, 88 grams of methamphetamine and items, including packaging, consistent with drug trafficking.
Three women were released without charges.
