The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in a large commercial storage building at Prairieland Park shortly after 1 Saturday morning.
Once crews arrived, they found black smoke coming from the building. Firefighters then forced open a side door to get in.
Crews encountered black smoke and heat as they entered the building. There were no occupants inside and the fire was quickly brought under control.
Crews stayed on scene to clear the building of smoke and a fire investigator is working to determine a cause and a damage estimate. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
