Residents and those who use the Meewasin Trail have an opportunity to share their thoughts and voice their opinion on what amenities should be included as the trail looks to expand futher in the northeast corner of the city. The Meewasin Valley Authority has released a new short survey asking what residents would like to see in the area between the Circle Drive North Bridge and the new Chief Mistawasis Bridge. Alan Otterbein with the MVA says they have an exciting opportunity to connect both sides of the river thanks to the addition of the new Chief Mistawasis Bridge. The survey asks residents questions along the lines of how many times a year they visit the study area and how important is to them to have amenities such as washrooms and benches.
