Regina Police say a man who is a repeat sexual offender and a high risk to reoffend is being moved into the city’s Heritage neighbourhood.

Police say 42-year-old Jason Paul Thorne is Indigenous, about 5-foot-9 inches tall with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Police suspect the prospect of treatment preventing Thorne from sexually assaulting young girls is poor.

He is on statutory release and scheduled to resume his long-term supervision order which has close to a dozen conditions on September 9th.

Police say this is a warning only and strongly advise against any contact with Thorne including any form of vigilantism.
