There was a fatal head-on collision around one o’clock Thursday afternoon on Highway 2, about 30 kilometres south of La Ronge. RCMP say the driver, and lone occupant of the car, was killed when it crashed with a semi. The driver of the semi wasn’t hurt. The highway was closed for several hours as a collision analyst went over the scene. Police have not yet identified the driver of the car and don’t expect to release the name, once they do. The accident remains under investigation.
