Fillmore RCMP are investigating a number of break and enters, thefts from vehicles and theft of motor vehicles from Sedley and area.

On Thursday in the early morning hours, RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in Sedley. Subsequent reports received included a theft of a pick-up truck, break and enter to a home, break and enter to two garages and and multiple thefts from vehicles all in Sedley.

On Friday afternoon, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from a farm near Sedley. Police then recovered a stolen Ford F-250 truck from the Lajord area at that farm yard.

Police are continuing to investigate. The RCMP also asking residents to ensure their homes and vehicles are looked.
