Homicide investigations in Saskatoon for 2019 have hit the double digits.

A 25 year old man, whose identity is not being released at the request of his family, was discovered in the 1800 block of 20th Street West on Sunday morning.

Saskatoon Police say following the autopsy on Tuesday, this has gone from an injured person call to a homicide. Police also say the man had suffered a gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

This is Saskatoon’s 10th homicide in 2019.
