One league’s season comes to an end this weekend at SaskTel Centre.

The four teams taking part in the Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Championship Weekend all practice Thursday in advance of Saturday’s semi-finals. The host Saskatchewan Rattlers take on the Edmonton Stingers at 1 o’clock Saturday, followed at 3:30 by the Niagara River Lions meeting the Hamilton Honey Badgers. The winners meet in Sunday’s final at 4 o’clock. The C-E-B-L hands out its awards Thursday night at the Sheraton-Cavalier. A street festival, on 21st street downtown, begins Friday at noon.
