Shortly after 6 Saturday night, the Saskatoon Fire Department received multiple 9-1-1 calls of a house fire in the 1000 block of Avenue F North.

Crews arrived on scene within four minutes and once they arrived, black smoke could be seen coming from the front of the home.

Firefighters then made their way inside the home and started an offensive attack. Crews encountered black smoke and heat as they made their way into the home.

No occupants were found inside the home and the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

A damage estimate and cause are not available at this time. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
