The broadcast starts at 12:30 p.m. with play-by-play at 1 p.m. The Toppers have 2 wins, 0 losses for 4 points…tied for 1st place. Regina Pats at Moose Jaw Warriors-7 p.m.
(The Saskatoon Blades continue and wind up their training camp today at SaskTel Centre ice with 72 players taking part. The winner of the four-team scrimmage tournament claims the Kirkness Cup.
The Blades will start their pre-season schedule on Friday in Regina against the Pats. Saskatoon will be the home team, once again, for the annual exhibition game in Warman against the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday, September 6th. Game time is 7 p.m. The Blue and Gold will host the Winnipeg ICE in a pair of pre-season games at SaskTel Centre on Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th. Game time both nights is 7 p.m. Both of those games will be aired on 98-COOL, beginning with the Sardinia Family Restaurant pre-game show at 6.
Saskatoon begins the regular-season on Friday, September 20th in Prince Albert. The broadcast on 98-COOL starts at 6 p.m. and the play-by-play at 7. The same teams meet Saturday, September 21st for the Blades’ home opener at 7 o’clock at SaskTel Centre.
The Prince Albert Raiders will open their training camp on Friday with on-ice sessions beginning at 5 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre. P-A plays their first pre-season game on Wednesday, September 4th against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.)
