Two people have been charged in connection to a Prince Albert Police investigation of a shooting on Tuesday.

An 18 year old woman was found in a vehicle in the 700 block of 32nd Street East with a gunshot wound just before noon that day. She was transported to Victoria Hospital in stable condition, where she remains.

Police reported at the time that they believed the incident was gang related and it happened on the road in the 1400 block of Marquis Road East. A 23 year old man is charged with aggravated assault, participation in a criminal organization and various other firearms-related charges. A 23 year old woman is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and careless storage of a firearm.
