Defensive tackle Micah Johnson was a full participant as the Saskatchewan Roughriders returned to practice in advance of Sunday’s Labour Day Weekend Classic clash with Winnipeg at Mosaic Stadium.
The veteran import missed two games with a sprained ankle.
“I’m happy to be back out here,” said the first-year member of the Green and White and former Calgary Stampeder. “You hate kind of being away from your team, being out of the loop. I feel like I’m super-competitive, so it’s kind of hard just sitting on the sidelines…so I’m trying to push and hopefully be back on the field this week.”
Meanwhile, receiver Shaq Evans and offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman were moving at full speed after limping through last Saturday’s victory over Ottawa.
