The last long weekend of the summer is on the way, with many heading to their favourite camping spots, and there’s a Rider game with fans heading to Regina on Sunday, so the roads will be busy.
Both the province and SGI are reminding everyone to drive safely. With harvest underway, watch for farm equipment and slow down in work zones. SGI says police will be out patrolling Saskatchewan’s roads, looking for impaired or distracted drivers and speeders because the risk of highway accidents double on long weekends.
