Regina Police are asking the public for information that could assist an investigation into a weapons offence that happened shortly after midnight Monday morning in the area of the 1600 block of Toronto Street.

Around 12:20 police received information about an injured male in the 1600 block of Toronto Street. The victim was then taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
