It may be the holiday Monday before school begins, but the school zone speed limits are back in effect as of today (mon).
Staff Sgt. Patrick Barbar with the Saskatoon Police Service says the school zone bylaws begin the first Monday of September and continue through the end of June, so the speed limit is back to 30 kilometres per hour on weekdays between 8 and 5, including holidays.
Regina’s school zone speed limit used to be 40 kilometres per hour, but as of today, it becomes 30.
