A man wanted in Regina has been found in Montreal. Regina Police say there had been a Canada-wide warrant for arrest from a human trafficking investigation.
Daniel Khet was arrested last week in Montreal on unrelated matters. The 29 year old will be returned to Regina to appear in court on charges from an investigation into offences alleged to have occurred in Saskatchewan from the end of March to the beginning of April.
Khet’s charges include human trafficking, forcible confinement, assault, advertising offers to provide sexual services, among other charges. He is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court Wednesday afternoon at 2.
