Defensive back and kick-off return specialist Loucheiz Purifoy wasn’t on the field as the re-match preparation began Wednesday for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers ahead of the Banjo Bowl on Saturday in the Manitoba Capital.

However, Purifoy won’t miss the game as he is home with his wife, who is giving birth to a child. The Riders won the first meeting 19-17 this past Sunday in Regina.
